📝चयन प्रक्रिया
Qualifying test: shorthand dictation and transcription typing. Gujarati: 60 words per minute dictation of a two-minute passage, transcription at 7 words per minute. English: 80 words per minute dictation of a two-minute passage, transcription at 7 words per minute.
Only candidates qualifying in the qualifying test are admitted to the main exam.
Main exam Paper 1: Language proficiency and computer knowledge (descriptive and objective), 100 marks, 120 minutes.
Main exam Paper 2: Skill test (shorthand and typing of transcription), 100 marks.
Final merit is decided on marks obtained in the main exam. Transcription carries 90 marks and punctuation etc. carries 10 marks; one mark is deducted for every 2.5 mistakes in transcription.
