Assistant Professor (most subjects)
Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian university or an accredited foreign university, and NET (UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET; candidates with a Ph.D. under the UGC 2009/2016 regulations are exempt from NET/SLET/SET. 5% relaxation in the 55% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwBD.

Written exam: 360 marks, 120 objective questions (30 general knowledge, 90 on the subject), 2 hours
Interview: 40 marks

Fill in the online application in English, choosing your post/subject and school preference
Upload a photo (30–300 KB) and signature (10–200 KB, JPG), and documents as PDF (50–500 KB)
Pay the fee online (credit/debit card or net banking) and keep the receipt
Submit and keep three printouts of the application (two sets are needed at document verification)
