What documents should I keep ready before applying for government jobs?

Keep these ready as scanned copies: a recent passport-size photo and signature (in the size the notice asks for), 10th certificate (for date of birth), 12th and graduation mark sheets and certificates, caste / EWS / PwBD certificate if you claim a reservation, domicile certificate for state jobs, and a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar. Each notice lists its exact documents and file sizes.
